contrary to any sparse comments of the “i hate everything” nature (which i’ll attribute now to the inability to eat whatever and whenever i want), it was a nice first day back to school! i didn’t realize how much i missed seeing some people and it was genuinely nice to be reunited. maybe it’s this time of year in particular, but i just feel hyper-aware of just about everything. i’m feeling unusually motivated (but i’m glad for this) to finish off strong and really see that these last five months of high school are wonderful and rewarding. all these exciting prospects are coming up, college acceptance letters for everyone, prom, grad night, graduation, debuts, etc—it’s so unreal. all this talk about college has got my head spinning but i’m really thrilled for that this coming fall.. i really am! aah.
i don’t really know where i was going with this post, but i’ll leave it at that. let’s go, second semester! here’s to keeping your head high and your ambitions higher.
time to finish cleaning my room, finish my fafsa, and then doing homework for all my classes tonight so i can sleep well. maybe that essay if i have the inspiration tonight. goal this year is to stop waking up early to finish assignments, aha!
i’m back to making checklists, since i currently can not find my planner:
[ ] evens on calc assignment
[ ] capacitor problems for physics lab—rewrite/edit,
check 18 hw #47 in particular
review book problems!
[ ] read & take notes on 23-1 & 2,
check your understandings. quiz on that & on course description.
[ ] browse through columnists list and read some… find one article for two different authors, print, read, annotate?, ready to present!
[ ] anatomy packet on the brain
brain vocabulary
[ ] fafsa
[ ] blue correction sheet.. health
